I Favati’s 2016 Cretarossa is a structured aglianico-based red wine showing balanced and open-knit notes of dark cherry and pomegranate fruit up front, followed by hints of cocoa, pepper, and stones. Our second wine, I Favati’s 2022 Greco di Tufo, is a steely dry white that’s loaded with typical Greco flavor notes like acacia, ripe lemon, and almonds.

Tuesday Fix: Calabrian Cool

Sergio Arcuri’s “Il Marinetto'' is a silky, highly drinkable rosato (rosé) made from Calabria’s native Gaglioppo grape.
